In the United States, a lone gunman opens fire in a school, killing 26, plus himself (and his mother before he left home). In China, a mentally deranged man attacks a school with a knife. There were 22 injured, but no deaths.

Can you imagine if the slaughter had been committed by an Islamic terrorist? In that case, there would be calls for action NOW, things would be done, things would be accomplished and we would start bombing some Arab or Islamic country with much fanfare. Instead, we weep and cry and try to fathom the depths of the evil of this horrible miscreant. We should be screaming at the politicians to enact stronger gun laws, NOW. The NRA has blood on its hands, what a rotten vile organization.
