  1. Rep. Ryan is on the cat food commission to kill Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. This right wing thug wants to privatize Medicare and SS. The flim flammery never ends. Why the heck did Obama initiate the cat food commission which is stacked with SS haters and corporate shills and which is receiving funding from billionaire Pete Peterson who has had a jihad against SS for decades?Recently there have been screaming headlines that SS is running in the red. What total crap. SS has $2.5 trillion, with a T, in assets. And of course they did not take into account that SS is earning interest. The trust fund is US treasuries backed by the full faith and credit of the US, just like the treasuries that most Americans have and foreign countries hold. How can you say one set of treasuries are worthless while others are not? Are the dollars in our wallets worthless paper, worthless IOUs? If you think that treasury bonds are worthless IOUs, please send me all your treasury bonds, sign them over to me.
