You knew this was going to happen — the right-wing can’t abide a Democratic success, especially when Bill Clinton is involved. When all is said and done, Rush Limbaugh, John Bolton and the rest are more concerned about their own political advantage than they ever were about the two American journalists who were facing long sentences in North Korea. They should be ashamed.

Limbaugh and Bolton don't know the meaning of shame. They are shameless bullies who will never admit they made a mistake unless they are paid big money to do so.Bolton lead the charge of those gang of well dressed GOP thugs who shouted and pounded on the door to stop the recount in 2000. Mission accomplished.These are fascistic brown shirts in the service of corporate America, very wealthy and very powerful right wing ideologues.
Glad the young women are home. But what did it cost us? No one is saying that. If it was just sending Bill for a photo op, then maybe. If we have \”caved\”, maybe not. What were these women doing sneaking into North Korea? I'm glad they are home, but I'd like to understand the full cost. And, I'm neither \”right\”, \”left\”, or wrong. We may have endangered other Americans by being \”weak\”.
There are conflicting reports how the 2 women came to be arrested but I tend not to believe the North Korean account that they crossed the border. You know, that same N. Korean government that kidnapped Japanese from their own land because the Koreans wanted to learn Japanese customs and language. Huh? Instead of kidnapping Japanese why didn't they buy some language CDs and Japanese-Korean dictionaries? Crazy stuff.Other reports said the women had been arrested on the Chinese side by North Korean guards who objected to being filmed. Their cameraman and guide managed to evade capture. It is really vile and contemptible to blame the women for the nuttiness of the N. Korean government.
Anonymous: this is why most people call liberals \”looney\”. How could you conveniently forget when Madeline Albright was wined and dined by Kim \”mentally ill\” of North Korea. They had a great time together making all kinds of promises. Pres. Clinton authorized her to allow the sale of nuclear plant materials with the promise that they would not use the nuclear waste to make weapons. Liberals don't care about outcomes they care about feelings and intent. Well because of Clinton and Albright \”feelings\” and \”intent\”, we now have a nuclear armed North Korea threatening the world. Is liberalism really a mental illness, as a noted Psychiatrist recently stated? After observing liberalism for over 40 years I now believe so. Anonymous calls Limbaugh and Bolton fascists. Chas: this is why most people call right wingers (birthers) looney because they conveniently forget Nixon who was wined and dined by a mass murderer, Mao and Reagan who wined and dined with a commie in order to promote world peace. They both talked and negotiated with our enemies. Now, when a Democrat is in office, talking with our enemies is a big no no. When the GOP does the same thing, it's A-OK. Nixon made nice nice with an evil villain who made Kim Jong Il, look like a boy scout.
