Sorry, but no sympathy from us loony little L libertarians. There is NO difference between the D\’s and the R\’s. It\’s all smoke and mirrors. And, you folks believed that \”hope and change\” was anything more than just changing who was benefiting. Instead of bailing out Goldman Sachs, \”we\” bail out the UAW. Instead of a surge in Iraq, \”we\” are trying a surge in AfPak. (Where the geography is all wrong for us to suceed.) Instead of creatively ignoring Israel and Palestinians, \”we\” are trying to force an agreement. So \”we\” have ownership of Government Motors. \”We\” have ownership of the Government banks (More so that when it was just the FDIC!) \”We\” have a massive debt — given \”steroids\” by the various spending bills mislabeled as \”stimulus\” that won\’t do anything. \”We\” have the unelected unaccountable and uncontrolled FED destroying the value of the US dollar. Makes one yearn for the days, when Bill was poking interns and there was deadlock in the corridors of power.Secession is the only solution. Like the old USSR breaking up, the USA needs to break up.
After 8 years in Afghanistan, it\’s time to get out. We should get out of Iraq, too. Enough already, I am sick unto death of these horrible wars. Obama inherited this monumental mess, whoops, I mean monumental messes from day 1 of his presidency. He needs to get rid of Gates and hire a Secretary of Defense who is more in tune with the American people who are fed up with the wars and the killing. I guess it\’s up to us folks to keep complaining and hope the message sinks in.Oh, for pity\’s sakes, the UAW was not bailed out, they have made massive concessions and thousands of auto workers have been laid off. I guess libertarians want American workers to be peons and serfs working for Chinese wages with Mexican non benefits.Secession is absolute nonsense. We tried that before and ended up with 620,000 war dead, more losses than all the other wars we participated in. Another civil war in America would make Afghanistan look like a picnic. Secession would mean another civil war. Jaysus, what the hell goes on at these spaced out libertarian covens?
