Corzine: No MOM in Middlesex

The Home News Tribune is reporting that the governor has killed the MOM line — or at least the portion running through Jamesburg, Monroe and South Brunswick. A victory for common sense and New Jersey taxpayers.

“It will be the MO line, not the MOM line,” he said to applause from to an audience of Middlesex County residents.

And, we should believe any politicians because he tells us what we want to hear?

Why should I believe a libertarian? Is there any successful model of a libertarian government or country in the world today? All the rich, successful democracies have some form of universal health care except the US. The USA has Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid unless we get a libertarian freak president like Ron Paul who would destroy the social safety net.

Broken Cord: An Anthology of Writing on Alzheimer’s and Dementia

We are looking to raise seed money for an anthology of writing on Alzheimer’s and dementia. The anthology will be the first project from a new small press. All proceeds will go to research and care groups. Contributors who donate $20 or more will get copies of the anthology and a mention on the acknowledgements page. Writers, we are looking for poems, fiction, and essays on dementia and Alzheimer’s. They can be from any perspective — care-givers, family, the person with dementia.
