Runner’s diary, Monday — a bit late in the day

OK. Long, busy day and I didn’t run.

But I did hit the treadmill at home on Sunday, putting in a difficult three miles while listing to Earl Greyhound on the iPod.

I can’t wait for the warm weather so I can get my wimpy bones back outdoors.

Runner’s diary, Thursday

OK. The headline of the post is a bit misleading — no run today, so no running diary. Got to the office early because I have to leave for a funeral. May not have a chance to post for a couple of days — I’ll try — but no guarantees.

Runner’s diary, Wednesday

Today I opened things up a bit, pushing four miles in about 35:40 (overall I ran about four and a half miles) and feeling real good afterward. That was a big difference compared to the last two days when I labored some.

Unfortunately, I’m probably off the road now until Monday (unless I can get a half hour in on Saturday) because of a funeral.

Runner’s diary, Monday

Been a few weeks, I guess, since I’ve updated the world (like it cares) on my running progress, but here it is: After a couple of weeks with a lone three-mile run, I did a three-miler today on the treadmill at a slow pace with tight hamstrings and quads and sore knees. I hate getting old.

Today on teh iPod: The Arctic Monkeys.
