Short workout because of a morning meeting, but I managed to get in three miles in 24:13. I was smoking. Taht’s 20 for the week and 96 for the first five weeks of the year.

Seven miles in 59:30 — an even 8:30 pace. I never expected to finish the seven — very tight legs and a sour stomach — but I got into a groove, stepping up the pace and slowing it in a modified interval approach.

Took yesterday off — both from the gym and the office — because it was Annie’s birthday. So, hit the treadmill today on three days rest and ran six miles in 50:57. Nice run.
