“Timeless.” I’ve been searching for words to describe what I think may be the song that defines The Beatles at the moment that their music takes over America. “Timeless” is as good as any, but maybe not the right word. “She Loves Your” certainly has a timeless quality, but it is more than timeless. It is definitional. It is a song that encapsulates everything that drove the band to success and made the Fab Four more than just mop-top teen idols.
