Two Finds from Texas
I’ve long been obsessed with guitars, even if my guitar playing can best be described as terrible. I got my first guitar in high school, learned to play a few songs, jammed with friends — some Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Neil Young — and even wrote a couple of songs. But I am not a guitar player. I don’t play much anymore, but I do remain obsessed with great guitar playing and wanted to call attention to two songs I missed when they came out in early January, songs that feature infectious and powerful guitar lines.
