If anything, Obama is to the right of Eisenhower. Eisenhower strengthened Social Security while the great compromiser is ready and willing to make cuts to SS in the name of that claptrap bipartisanship. Can you imagine, a Democratic president who is ready and willing to undermine and weaken SS. FDR is rolling over in his grave. Obama appointed that heinous cat food committee stacked with so many corporate SS haters who were just itching to destroy SS because we cannot allow working Americans any break whatsoever. Obama is a corporate Democrat (sellout and lapdog) in the style of Bill Clinton. Ike supported unions while Obama does nothing for unions, zip, nada, just some worthless lip service. Obama's RTTT is an abomination; it should be dumped, scrapped and flushed down the toilet. Obama is right in sync with the school privatizers who want to destroy our public school system. The so called \”reformers\” want to replace public schools with charter schools, school vouchers and home schooling. They also want to kill off the teacher unions, tenure, collective bargaining, seniority and defined benefit pensions. And yet I voted for Obama to stave off Romney who would have been even worse. I wish we had a workers party but sadly we will be lucky if unions aren't totally wiped out in this plutocratic country.
