I had a brief conversation with a student this afternoon, a American Muslim with family in Cairo, Egypt, just one day after President's Cairo speech designed to reset our nation's relationship with the Muslim world.
She said there is an openness, at least among her family members, to the new president — so much so, in fact, that they've asked her to bring Obama t-shirts when she visits next week.
Elections, apparently, do have consequences.
