  1. How about some \”truth in labeling\”? What you call \”Progressive\” I\’d call \”Socialist\”.You want to use the guns of gooferment to rob people (Not just \”rich\” people, but everyone!) to \”give\” to the \”poor\”. Please wake up and smell the \”barbara streisand\”! First, that taking costs a terrible price in \”handling\”. I\’ve seen numbers that say \”HALF\”! Fed takes \”taxes\”, keeps half for \”handling\”, gives it to the States who keep half for \”handling\” and give it to municipalities who keep half for \”handling\”. There\’s a whole lot of \”handling\” going on.Second, there are all sorts of strings attached to everything. Look at Gooferment\’s record for giving stuff out. Terrible. Farm subsideis go to Sam Donnelson. Rent control appartments to Rangal. Tax breaks to politically connected \”friends\” and contributing companies.Third, who will generate real jobs? The Gooferment. Please! \”RICH PEOPLE\” who will invest their capital and create businesses that generate real value. SO, if you want jobs, get out of the way and allow people to keep what they earn.So, please take your \”progressive\” ideas and keep them to yourself. It\’s not what made America the \”shining city\”. It\’s Socialism. Pure and simple. It\’s corrosive. Look at the old USSR. A classic example of Socialism. Seven decades of demotivation, corruption, and poverty. Please keep it out of America.
