I wish John McCain would stop this nonsense about handing the health care system over to the government. Someone needs to ask him why that would be so bad, given the failure of the private system to provide health care to all.

  1. Great Brittan and Canada! Socialized medicine doesn\’t work. Cite Medicare. Cite the VA. Cite any prison system. We, as consumers and taxpayers, should keep the gooferment as far away from medicine as possible.

  2. The UK, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Finland, Holland or in other words, all the other wealthy industrialized countries have some form of universal health care. Teddy Roosevelt was the first president to propose universal health care in his 1912 very progressive campaign plank. Who\’s the damn goof? 47 million uninsured, tens of millions UNDER insured and it just keeps getting worse. The GOOFERTARIAN \”solution\” is to do NOTHING and to prattle on about crap and this gooferment nonsense. Talk about a ONE note Louie, geezus!
