We are listening to the Mets game here in the office, which is probably not a wise idea. Johan Santana pitched a fine game, going into the eighth, but then the bullpen managed to squander a two-run lead.
Scott Schoenweiss is today’s culprit in what has been a rather egalitarian approach to making a mockery of relief pitching. It seems like everyday someone else steps up and fails. Ugh.
