Stayed inside on the treadmill and ran four miles in 34:23 — not bad. The gym is in the basement at Dow Jones, however, so the air-conditioning only kept the temperature down, not the humidity. In any case, it was better than being outside.
Here is how I updated my status for Facebook:
“Already too hot to run outside. I guess it’s the treadmill for me — like a gerbil in a cage!”
