Runner’s diary, Thursday

What a gorgeous day. I ran outside for the first time this season, trekking along Ridge and Perrine under a beautiful open sky. I’d been putting it off — not sure why — but I realized that I missed that stretch along Perrine where the corn grows on both sides and there are few cars.

My pace was a bit slower than on the treadmill — 43:55, for an 8:47.

Again, as I have several times over the last week, I listened to R.E.M., Accelerator, and B-52s, Funplex.
