Runner’s diary, Tuesday

Back on the road after five days off. Forgot my GPS unit, so measurements are tough, but I ran a four-mile course. Only way to judge time is by gauging the songs I listened to:

  • Beach Boys — “Heroes and Villans,” 3:39
  • R.E.M. — “Walk Unafraid,” 4:33
  • Bettie Serveert — “Greyhound Song,” 3:21
  • Wilco — “Muzzle of Bees (live),” 4:49
  • Fountains of Wayne — “Someone to Love,” 3:52
  • R.E.M. — “Seven Chinese Brothers,” 4:15
  • My Chemical Romance — “I Don’t Love You (live),” 3:55
  • Wilco — “What Light,” 3:35
  • Joanna Cotton — “Funkabilly,” 3:33
  • Arctic Monkeys — “Brainstorm,” 2:50

If I calculate correctly, that means I did four miles in 38:22.
